Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Wine Assist (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Wine Assist provides wine label evaluation, market insights, and related features. Features may evolve over time.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for maintaining account security.
• Third‑party sign-in (e.g., Google, Facebook) is provided via Firebase Authentication.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

• Paid access and entitlements are managed by RevenueCat on our behalf.
• Subscriptions may auto‑renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
• Manage or cancel from the app via “Manage / Unsubscribe,” which opens your store portal (e.g., App Store, Play, Stripe) when available.
• Prices and features may change; changes will apply from the next billing cycle unless stated otherwise.

5. Trials, Promotions, and Lifetime Access

Promotional, trial, and lifetime entitlements are subject to the terms presented at purchase or activation. Some promotions may not include a self‑service management portal.

6. Refunds

Refunds are handled by the payment provider per their policies (e.g., Apple, Google, Stripe). Contact store support or support@wine-assist.com for help.

7. Acceptable Use

• No unlawful, infringing, or harmful activity.
• No scraping, reverse engineering, or abuse of rate limits.
• No uploading of content you do not have the right to share.

8. Content and Intellectual Property

The Service, including text, UI, and models, is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain rights to your uploaded images; you grant us a license to process them to provide the Service.

9. Third‑Party Services

We use third‑party providers (e.g., Firebase, RevenueCat). Their services are subject to their own terms and policies.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Market insights are informational and not financial advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wine Assist and its affiliates are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or for security reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time.

13. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms. We will post updates here and adjust the effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence unless local law requires otherwise.
